At this point, I don't think it's clear how things are going to develop from here. Just how bad things have to develop before the West takes action?

The jury is still out.
One more point occurs to me.
ReplyDeleteConventional wisdom has it that Hamas achieved a great military success and certainly their operation seemed to be highly effective, if brutal.
I can't help wondering though... if Hamas gets Gaza and if Fattah can hold onto the West Bank, who actually gets the better deal?
