Who needs them!

Their view of what the world will look like in coming decades fits neatly with Obama's own worldview.

Its not a matter of accidental detail but a matter of deeply held conviction.

Israel can do nothing to change Obama's views about the Middle East, rooted as it is in a Post-American ideology.NormanFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03365459073293643108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15627892.post-14972130032591369312011-05-31T08:07:15.906-04:002011-05-31T08:07:15.906-04:00You may not know much about Zakaria but having rea...You may not know much about Zakaria but having read his books you can get the impression that not only does he dismiss Israel and her economic stability but he truly dislikes the United States as well. He sees the future in the third world in oligarchical and oppressive societies. That somehow the rise of China and the third world means its the end of the line and rightly so, for the US. This is how his narrative feeds into Friedman's view of the world. Remember it was Friedman who wished Obama had the power that the leader of China had even for just one day.

What is enlightening is that the President of the Untied States, a man beholden to the US Constitution, seeks advice from those who have no respect for the Constitution, detests this country and thinks despotism is the best way to enter the future.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
