Am I alone in being disturbed by Barack Obama’s call for firing a broadcaster over something he said? This off-with-his-head mentality is unpresidential.With the 2008 campaign starting so early, the candidates need a constant diet of issues--real and manufactured--to stay in the limelight and appear relevant.
I seem to recall pledge week on PBS years ago when all they did was ask for money without any regular programming--they felt they had to be in your face all the time or they wouldn't get your money.
At least then you could change channels.
