Video: A New York Jew In China

Hat tip to Legal Insurrection, who came across this video.

The video interviews a variety of Chinese of various ages and walks of life to get an idea of what they know about Jews.

While they all seem friendly enough, since the schools do not teach about Jews, the Chinese are left with stereotypes--both positive and negative.

  1. Adding to the bizarreness, the anchor, who apparently lives in China, is speaking in a Yiddishist Yiddish, interviews a rabbi who speaks Yinglish. Only the voice over dude has the authentic Yiddish.
