Photos: Hamas Terrorist Serving 3 Life Terms Has Facebook Account--With Predictable Results

Above is snapshot of the Facebook page of Haytham Battat, 27, serving 3 consecutive life sentences. Battat was convicted of being the mastermind behind a bombing in Beer Sheva.

According to an article in Ma'an, Battat posted a video praising Jihad onto his Facebook account:

Maariv says that a Hamas-affiliated prisoner, Haytham Battat, uploaded on his Facebook page three weeks ago a short YouTube film he entitled “Take me to Jihad”. The film, according to Maariv, included a song in Arabic dedicated to the Chechen rebels. A few minutes after the film was uploaded, his mother wrote a comment saying, “Oh my beloved son. This is a great song. I hope you and all prisoners will be released tomorrow morning.”

Battat is not the only prisoner with a Facebook account, and many of the prisoners have state-of-the-art cell phones so they can access the Internet--and they are able to make video calls as well.

Then there is the food.

Saed Omar, another Palestinian terrorist, posted pictures on his Facebook photos of the kinds of meals the prisoners are served. Omar is affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and is currently serving a 19-year sentence.

Among his pictures, Omar posted photos of prisoners preparing stuffed chickens before they gathering around to eat their meal.

This is the same Omar who wrote on his Facebook page:

I would rather die with my weapon in my hand than the stay alive with my weapon in my enemy’s hand.

Yeah. Brave words from the guy eating stuffed chicken, prepared by his enemy's hands.

The Ma'an article concludes:

Prisoners can now watch TV and receive money from their families and from the Palestinian Authority to do shopping from the prison’s canteen. Those who want to pursue university education can do distance learning.

Prisoners, says Maariv, have access to fast internet and the demand is high in prisons for 3G cell phones in order to send and receive multimedia messages.

Of course, not all prisoners in the Middle East get that sort of treatment.

Then again, Gilad Shalit is not a prisoner--he is a captive whom the terrorist group Hamas is not allowing the Red Cross to visit--contrary to international law.

I don't think he gets stuffed chicken .
