Israel's Other Front In The War With Hizbollah

Power Line hosted 7postings from Joel Mowbray while he was in Israel, reporting on the situation there.

Mowbray is back in the US now, but has another post in Power Line. This time he examines the front page from the Miami Herald and photo, and the kind of bias that we have come to expect in the reporting on Palestinian Arabs--this time applied to Hizbollah and the war in Lebanon.

After analyzing the Miami Herald's subjective reporting and how the front page photo was staged, Mowbray writes:
It’s more than a tad disconcerting that I even needed to write all of the above. Simply showing the scan of the front page should be enough, but it’s not. We’ve become so inured to relentless bias that heavy-handed contrivances often escape serious scrutiny.

...Palestinians have for years masterfully manipulated the media coverage, most powerfully through choreographed imagery. With this photo, Hezbollah has ripped a page from the Palestinian playbook.
Mowbray's post is worth a look--it reminds us that Lebanon is not the only place where Hizbollah needs to be fought.

Speaking of fighting Hizbollah on other fronts, read Debbie Schlussel on what appears to be a tax-funded Hizbollah charity here in the US.
