A Question For Those Who Condemn Qana

Over at The Corner, Cliff May is curious:
Why is there not one Arab (or UN) leader willing to say that, for humanitarian reasons, Hezbollah should stop firing missiles and release the kidnapped Israeli soldiers — and see what Israel does in response?

Not one. Evidently, the suffering of Lebanese civilians is an outrage — but not a high priority.
Maybe for the same reason that prior to The Road Map the PA did not take their case directly to the UN--and after the Road Map never fulfilled its requirements.

  1. If their goal was to get back to the status quo, I think they never would have left there in the first place. Which is the same reason you refer to of course.

  2. At this point, I wonder if they have any idea of what the status quo was.
They have no sense of history--just a memory of past glory.
