Why Didn't I Think Of That?

Elie's Expositions apparently had a far more inquiring mind as a kid than I did--and a better memory. He recounts 10 burning questions he had when he was 9 years old, such as
Why does Underdog always wait to use his secret energy pill until he is on the verge of defeat? Same question for Peter Potamus and his "Hurricane Hippo Holler"?
He may not have the answers to these questions (yet), but he'd like to hear about similar questions you may have had as a kid.

The only question I recall having as a kid was why no one realized that Clark Kent was Superman when the only disguise was the glasses. I don't recall him ever bothering to disguise his voice.
