Iran Takes A Shakepearean Turn

"For Brutus is an honorable man, So are they all, all honorable men"
Shakespeare

In today's news:
[Iran's Ambassador to Italy Abolfazl] Zohrevand said that he can honorably announce that Iran is the only democratic state in the Middle Ease (sic). [emphasis added]
Then there is this self-contradictory deception:
"We have no part in Iraqi events. However, we have a common border with Iraq and our cultural and religious commonalities make us united."
Perhaps Zohrevand--and Ahmadinejad--should take a lesson from Shakespeare's Measure For Measure:
But man, proud man,
Drest in a little brief authority,
Most ignorant of what he ’s most assured,
His glassy essence, like an angry ape,
Plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven
As make the angels weep.
Angry ape?
Will they ban Shakespeare in the only democracy in the Middle East?
