NEW UN SECRETARY GENERAL NOT FOLLOWING THE CROWD: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is not following those who are rushing to praise the new unity government:

"The initial report coming from this unity government seems to be a little bit disappointing."

On the other hand, he thinks the Saudi initiative is just swell:

I think the Arab peace initiative of 2002 by Saudi Arabia is one of the pillars which will facilitate the peace process in the Middle East.
