A FADING GENRE IN HOLOCAUST LITERATURE: Menachem Z. Rosensaft, chairman of the Editorial Board of the Holocaust Survivors’ Memoirs Project and founding chairman of the International Network of Children of Jewish Holocaust Survivors, writes:
The vast majority of the survivor’s autobiographical accounts of their horrendous experiences, however, have achieved only limited distribution, and most remain unpublished.

Sadly, it is a fading genre. As the ranks of survivors dwindle all too rapidly, their children, relatives and friends are left only with their heroic stories of strength, persistence and courage.
Rosensaft gives an annotated list of the memoirs that have been published.
