THE FINE PRINT WILL GET YOU EVERY TIME: Norman Podhoretz makes The Case for Bombing Iran. At the very end of the article there is a footnote:
However, a new study by two members of the Security Studies Program at MIT concludes that the Israeli Air Force “now possesses the capability to destroy even well-hardened targets in Iran with some degree of confidence.” The problem is that all of the many contingencies involved would have to go right for such a mission to succeed. [emphasis added]
This with the scathing Winograd Report, the disarray of the Israeli military, and the current Israeli leadership--and the threat of a new war with Hezbollah this summer.
