FRED THOMPSON ON HAMAS: You can read the transcript of his commentary for ABC or listen to the audio.

Thompson matter-of-factly uses the 'T' word in describing the manipulation of children by Hamas through the Mickey Mouse knock off.

Personally, I would have liked to have seen something snappier, like his response to Michael Moore.

hje has "no time" for michael moore, but has time to sit and make this stupid video? who is he kidding? of course he has time, this is probably the best thing he knows how to do. (nice touch with the cigar too, way to promote the "rush limbaugh" image, smoker)

SO this guy has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING since floating the idea of a presidential run but he has time and resources to stoop low enough to acknowlege the challenge from michael moore? Duh, of course he has time. THIS was the most important thing for him to do? (as opposed to anythingthing else?) But of course! he looks and sounds good and authoritative on camera! And thats all he has going for him...he has about as much chance of being elected president as rick santorum.

  2. The point is that Thompson has no need to jump in early as the others have and still make his presence known. In a poll from March he was leading Clinton by 1%--which at this point only shows that he has name recognition, which is all he needs at this point, along with making his position known and not making mistakes as Obama has. This video will do as much if not more for him than the debates last night will do form many of the other candidates.

The issue is not why is he doing so little; the issue is why did the other candidates--both Democrats and Republicans--jump in so early.
