UN SECURITY COUNCIL FAILS TO CONDEMN IRAN ON ISRAEL: The statement condemning Iran requires all 15 council members to approve. Qatar could not approve because it claimed to not have received instructions. Indonesia claimed that Ahmadinejad had not really threatened Israel and accused the Security Council of double standards for
doing nothing when Palestinians are attacked, when Israeli ministers threatened Iran or when the newspaper Haaretz called for Ahmadinejad's assassination.
"Doing nothing when Palestinians are attacked"?
Which month did the UN not condemn Israel?

On the bright side--who proposed the statement condemning Iran?
France.
