NORWAY'S STEP BACK IS A STEP FORWARD. Norway has severed the ties to Hamas--ties which Norway was the first to create back in March, and will no longer provide for the terrorist group.
Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gar Store said Monday his country has severed all ties with Hamas established during the brief Palestinian Authority unity government.
Instead, it will join the West in backing only acceptable terrorist groups, like Fatah:
In a meeting with President Shimon Peres, Gar Store said the Norwegian government now deals exclusively with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah and the PA Prime Minister Salam Fayad.
At this point, I suppose we should be thankful for small favors.
