Another Difference between Israel and South Africa

While discussing more attempts at Divestment on the way with comparisons between Israel and South Africa, the Economist makes this distinction:

Unlike the African National Congress, which acted as both a moral beacon and an organiser for sanctions, the Palestinian leadership does not support BDS—fearing that it will hurt Palestinians as much as Israelis—and is much weaker and more divided.

Especially with the Shmitta windfall, the Palestinian Arab on the street would probably want to leave well enough alone--at least this year.
