Who Left That Window Of Opportunity Open?

In Israel, Obama insists there is a unique opportunity for peace, which he will act on as president:
“I can tell you one thing that is very important: a U.S. administration has to put its weight behind a [Middle East peace] process, recognizing that it’s not going to happen immediately. That’s why I will not wait a few years into my term to get the process moving. I think we have a window right now that needs to be taken advantage of.”
Jim Geraghty provides a list illustrating how ubiquitous these windows seem to be. Somehow, though, it seems to take a politician to see them.
