Forget Palin--Women Making Bigger Inroads In Israel

A friend sent me an email pointing out that should Tzipi Livni go on to put together a government, there will be women at the top of all three branches of government in Israel, something that would be unprecedented:

Tzipi Livni--Prime Minister

Dorit Beinish--President of the Supreme Court.

Dalia Itzik--Speaker of the Knesset.

Having a woman as Vice President in the US would pale in comparison. [pun intended]
