Be Careful What You Wish For

Following Obama's election victory in November, there were a few articles calling for an arrangement where Obama would take control before January.

With the growing attention to his transition appointments--and now with the Blagojevich scandal--we see a compromise: Obama is getting all of the attention, though none of the power, of the President.

In light of all of the questions that were raised--but not addressed by the media--during the election campaign, the question is whether this is just a bump in the road or a preview of what is to come. 

And if the media really is waking up from its long hibernation, it could get interesting.
