Looks Like Olmert Wins In The End

A second Palestinian state will be pushed down Israel's throat:
The Middle East diplomatic quartet on Monday called on Israelis and Palestinians to step up talks to end their conflict and establish a Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel.

A quartet statement said the US-brokered bilateral process launched a year ago in Annapolis, Maryland "is irreversible and these negotiations should be intensified in order to put an end to the conflict and to establish as soon as possible the state of Israel, living side by side in peace and security with Israel." [emphasis added]
And it is not just the Quartet that will be applying the pressure, as David Bedein wrote yesterday: 'Bush Legacy': Getting The UN To Force A Binding Independent Palestinian State On Israel:
Tomorrow [December 16], the U.N. Security Council, is due to pass a historic resolution that will anchor establishing a Palestinian state in the principles established at the Nov. 2007 Annapolis conference last month’s Sharm el-Sheikh summit.

This will bind the U.N. to compel any future Israeli prime minister to recognize an independent, sovereign Palestinian state.

The policy would also be applied to Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu, an opponent of establishing a Palestinian state, if he should win the coming elections and become prime minister again.

Mr. Netanyahu’s spokesman told The Bulletin, Mr. Netanyahu vehemently opposes anything except “economic peace” with the Palestinians.
What else could Israel expect?
When it openned itself up to be treated like a colony, Europe obliged.

Stupidest, worst, most suicidal thing Israel has ever done, supporting the Security Council to vote on this. This is worse than all the wars against Israel combined, that's how bad this move was. Prepare for a mass slaughter worse than the Holocaust, just like your prophets promised -- but you didn't have to make it happen sooner. You guys are nuts.

  2. Cindy,

Good to hear from you again. Glad to see you have not mellowed. I posted about the Security Council too--they really are oblivious (or just don't care) about what is actually going on.

    You think Jews are nuts?
    Have you ever tried Cholent?

    Have a Good Week!
