I mentioned on Friday that my father, who is 85 years old, had fallen and fractured both his left hip and his right wrist. He had surgery and was given a partial hip replacement.
He is recovering nicely.
Already on Friday he was able to sit in a chair for a couple of hours on his own with minimal discomfort. Today, he will be going to a facility near my mom where he will have physical therapy for 2-3 weeks to learn how to walk with the hip replacement and then come home.
