The title of the poll is generous--Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza are...confused:

But that apparently does not shake their belief in the efficacy of terrorism.

The Arabs have always believed its been their murderous assault on Jews that have forced the latter to retreat.
ReplyDeleteAnd they show no signs of changing their conviction on its supposed results in the future.
Still, polls constitute another battlefield--ever since Condoleezza Rice quoted an anonymous poll indicating that 70% of Palestinians want peace.
ReplyDeleteShe never did quote the source for that number, and since then others have also used anonymous polls to support their contentions on the readiness of the Arabs for peace--generally to apply pressure on Israel.
