Here is a report from JLTV about  the book Abraham's DNA: Race, Identity and the DNA of the Chosen People, written by Jon Entine. While Publishers Weekly has some criticisms of the book itself, that shouldn't stop you from watching this video:

    I wasn't aware this book touched on the theory of Ashkenazi intelligence by Gregory Cochran et al. If only more Jews, especially the Haredim, would acknowledge it.

    Gregory Cochran and Henry Harpending's book "The 10,000 Year Explosion" has a chapter expanding on the idea.

    Its not the genes, its the values, stupid!

    G-d chose Abraham, not because of his ancestors (who were pagans) but because of his exemplary moral behavior.

    That's the real secret to Jewish survival down through the ages.
