    I wonder if it is weirder to wear a spiderman costume or a Siberian costume near the Kotel...

    Both are foreign customs and costumes anyway... goyishe mayses...

    The costume isn't Siberian, it's Polish. But yes, totally inappropriate in the Middle East. Jews who lived inArab or Muslim lands never dressed in that fashion.

    Of course, they don't see it as a costume, while "Spiderman" knows that he is (we hope).
