Palestinian Group Proves ANYBODY Can Call Themselves A Human Rights Group

Rocket attacks from Gaza against Israeli civilians continue--resulting in the death of an Israeli father of four:

Here is the text of the infolive.tv report on the Gaza rocket attack:
An Israeli man was killed and four injured in the latest escalation in violence as scores of Grad and Qassam rockets and mortar shells were fired at southern Israel..

Ami Moshe, 56, father of four was killed as he ran from his car for cover in Ashkelon as the siren warned of an incoming rocket attack and was hit by flying shrapnel. He was taken to hospital where he died shortly after.
But listening to the Palestinian self-proclaimed human rights group Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR), you would have a very different view of what happened.

You see, PCHR is not against the Hamas rocket attacks against unarmed civilians per se--no, this Palestinian "human rights" group doesn't care as long as it's not the Palestinians being injured.

But when Gazans are injured, PCHR leaps into action--calling on Hamas to be more careful in firing rockets at Israel:
Hamas and allied rocket gunners have injured at least eight Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian human rights group reported that at least eight people were injured in the explosion of rockets fired by Hamas and other militias in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights said the injuries took place in a five-day period as missiles and rockets fired toward Israel landed in Gaza communities.

"PCHR calls upon concerned authorities to investigate these incidents, to take necessary measures to ensure the non-recurrence of such incidents and to provide protection to civilians," the group said.
One might have expected a true human rights group to call for an end to the rockets, an end to the violence--but not The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights. They call for the end Gazan casualties from Hamas rockets--not for the end of the rockets themselves.

So it is not the least bit surprising, and rather consistent on their part, that PCHR is unconcerned about Israeli civilians attacked--but when Israel takes steps to stop Palestinian terrorist attacks, the PCHR springs into action, condemning Israel's defense of its civilians:
PCHR reiterates condemnation of these crimes and:
1- Stresses that these crimes form part of systematic violations perpetrated in the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly the Gaza Strip, which reflect Israeli forces disregard for the lives of Palestinian civilians;
2- Warns of further escalation in hostilities, which may result in the targeting of civilians and their property, in light of statements made by Israeli politicians and military leaders;
3- Calls upon the international community to immediately take an action to stop such crimes and reiterates its call for the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention to fulfill their obligations under Article 1 which stipulates "the High Contracting Parties undertake to respect and to ensure respect for the present Convention in all circumstances," and their obligations under Article 146 which requires that the Contracting Parties prosecute persons alleged to commit grave breaches of the Fourth Geneva Convention. These grave breaches constitute war crimes under Article 147 of the same Convention and under Protocol I Additional to Geneva Conventions.
So according to The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, it is a war crime for Israel to attack the terrorists who are firing rockets at unarmed civilians.

So much for human rights.
