EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND
For Tzefas and Northern Eretz Yisrael
Since Shiva Asar b’Tammuz, Tzefas and other cities in the Galil have been relentlessly pounded with Katyusha missiles and mortars. The forests of Mount Meron have been ravaged and burned. Men, women, and children have been killed, scores maimed and wounded, and property destroyed. There is hardly a street in the Old City that escaped the rain of missiles. Hatzolah workers are traumatized by what they have seen. In addition, tourism has come to a standstill, businesses have closed their doors, and martial law prevails. Families already living on the poverty line are desperate. OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS CRY OUT FOR HELP!
One of the lifelines for the poor of Tzefas is EIZER L’SHABBOS, which provides food packages every Shabbos and Yom Tov to countless aniyim hagunim from ALL sectors of the Tzefas community. Directed by Rabbi Binyomin Rosenberg, for many years a prominent melamed in Borough Park who now lives with his family in Tzefas, EIZER L’SHABBOS has haskamos from numerous Gedolei Yisrael including the BADATZ – Eidah HaChereidis of Yerushalayim, Rav Moshe Wolfson, shlita, Rav Reuvain Feinstein, shlita, Reb Shimon Biederman – Lelover Rebbe, shlita, Rav Elazar Kenig, shlita, manhig of Kiryas Breslev-Tzefat, and Rav Eliyahu, shlita, Sefardic Chief Rabbi of Tzefat. Yibadel bein chaim le-chaim, EIZER L’SHABBOS also received haskamos from Rav Pam, zatzal, the Debreciner Rov, zatzal, and Rav Levi Bistrisky - former Chief Rabbi of Tzefat, zatzal, among many others.
Thousands of dollars are needed to relieve these families. HaKodosh Boruch Hu will surely help -- but you can have the zechus of being His shaliach! Funds are needed IMMEDIATELY!
