AMIRI BARAKA LOSES ON APPEAL: Remember Amiri Baraka? He's the former New Jersey poet laureate who lost his position after reciting "Somebody Blew Up America" in public, where he blamed Israel:

Who knew the World Trade Center was gonna get bombed
Who told 4,000 Israeli workers at the Twin Towers to stay home that day?
Why did Sharon stay away?

In the end, Baraka could not be fired, so then-Governor McGreevey abolished the position.

Now Baraka has lost his appeal.
