UN: ALABAMA IS SAFE. At least that's what I think Major-General Claudio Graziano of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon must have meant--I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt:

"I think that for the people of the south, this summer will be a summer of peace. And we will be taking care of the problem of terrorist attacks," Graziano told An-Nahar.

On second thought, maybe he means Brazil...

Apparently, Graziano has borrowed a pair of Peretz's favorite binoculars:

"At the moment, I don't see any intention" between the two sides for renewed fighting.
