THE JBLOGOSPHERE CAN AFFORD TO DO NO LESS: Hugh Hewitt writes On The Building Up Of Good Blogs

...I do think that the center-right blogs are always eager to build up their center-right colleagues with talent because of a Reagan-like optimism about a growing blogosphere with room for thousands of talents, and of an underlying ethic of helpfulness which I have seen often among the better bloggers (though on the left as well as the right.) I also think you overestimate how much "help" was extended to the hard-working bloggers you mentioned. They got traffic the old-fashioned way: They earned it with interesting reporting and analysis. [Hat tip: Larwyn]

I think it fair to say that in general we are blogging not only because we have a talent for it and enjoy it but because of a desire to help Jews, Judaism and Israel. We cannot afford to overlook that unity of purpose and must act accordingly--if not by linking, at least by not allowing disagreements to flare up into something worse.
