Indeed, although there can be no doubt that he was speaking under the most intense duress, the dismaying fact is that this was scarcely any different from the anti-Israel coverage pumped out every day by the BBC, which has long abandoned all pretence of being fair or objective in its reporting of the Middle East, and presents Israel as the regional bully and persecutor of the Palestinians, a distorted view which has now become mainstream.

True, but then again England as a whole with its radical Muslim population is in fact under pretty much the same kind of duress.
