CNN's Rick Sanchez Misses The Point On 'Joe The Plumber' In Sderot

I decided to finally take a look at what "Joe The Plumber" was doing and saying in Israel, and along the way I came across the sarcastic rebuke he gets from Rick Sanchez of CNN.

Putting aside Sanchez's ad hominen attack and the way he reads the incomplete portion of what 'Joe' actually said--Sanchez fails to acknowledge, let alone address, Joe's criticism of the way the media tends to cover the war. Maybe it is because Joe's remarks remind us of Eason Jordan, former chief news executive at CNN who in an op-ed in the New York Times entitled The News We Kept To Ourselves, wrote about stories that were withheld out of fear of the Iraqi government.

I just thought it was interesting to compare what Joe actually said with what Sanchez claims he said--going so far as to claim that what Joe says is an insult to reporters who died on the job.

As a bonus, there is a video excerpt from 'Eretz Nehederet,' the Israeli version of Saturday Night Live, that takes on the BBC.
