Billions Of US Aid To Palestinians Does Not Stop Them From Hating The US

The anti-US sentiments are the direct result of incitement by the Palestinian Authority and other Palestinians against the US. Palestinians are reminded almost every day that the US, which has been providing them with billions of dollars, as a foe rather than friend, although no one seems to ask how come a foe is so generous.
Khaled Abu Toameh

Khaled Abu Toameh writes about What the Palestinians Want--and one of the things the Palestinians do not want is the United States, regardless of Obama's releasing $192million of aid, which with $3.5 billion since 1994 makes USAID the leading provider of bilateral development assistance to the Palestinians.

Since the release of the aid, there was a Palestinians demonstration in Ramallah against the US and a ceremony held by the US Consulate-General was boycotted. Similarly, back in October Palestinian protesters threw shoes at the cars of US diplomats visiting Ramallah.

Toameh suggests
US aid should be conditioned not only on transparency and accountability in the Palestinian Authority, but also on an end to the campaign of hatred and incitement, as officially agreed in the Oslo Accords, but never implemented.
But don't expect US aid to the Arabs to be conditional any time soon.
Obama is too busy winning over the Middle East.

This is baksheesh. Obama understands that. They've agreed on the size of the bribe, now all they have to work out is what exactly it's for.
