Hate Crime Perspective

The person behind the 2 shootings in Colorado--one at a church and the other at training center for Christian missionaries on the same day--has been identified as a man who "hated Christians". Four people were killed and six wounded.

Powerline points out:

It is perhaps worth noting that the toll in Sunday's shootings exceeded the combined total in all "hate crimes" against Muslims in the six years since September 11.

This may come as a shock to CAIR, which reports someone trampling on a "flower bed" at a mosque in Texas as a hate crime.
