Timeline: Aftermath Of Sinai Terrorist Attack As Egypt's Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood Make Their Move

The terrorist attack that killed 16 Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai was only the first in a series of surprises. The apparent repercussions, followed by what appear to be the actual ones, have been keeping the pundits guessing ever since.

Starting with my most recent posts first, here are my posts on the topic--with an annotated summary.

The subjects of the posts illustrate the uncertainty and downright mistaken interpretations that have been offered from the initial attack down to the increased power of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood and the apparent political defeat of the Egyptian military -- and Egypt's latest move to bypass its peace treaty with Israel and exert its sovereignty in the Sinai.
