This Morning Lebanon Attack Into Israel: What Was Reuters Doing There?

The 2 pictures below of the UN security force standing by Lebanese soldiers raises the question of what UNIFIL was doing there, and if they were actually acting as shields.

A second question, however, is what was Reuters doing there to begin with? It may be cynical to suggest this, but were they called there because the attack on Israel was planned?
