Flotilla Discovers Israel Is Not So Isolated

Free Gaza is but one tactic of a larger strategy, to transform this conflict from one between Israel and the Palestinians, or Israel and the Arab world...to one between the rest of the world and Israel...
Adam Shapiro, quoted by Melanie Phillips, The Flotilla and The Third Intifada

Shapiro may be a bit disappointed to see that the conflict is not between Israel and the rest of the world, but rather between the flotilla and some other countries.

The media in the Netherlands has been exposing the flotilla as a deception.

And Greece has not been at all cooperative with the efforts of the Flotilla to set sail.
In fact, Greece has been making things so difficult for the Flotilla, they decided to try to make a run for it--as Challah Hu Akbar relates:
Earlier today, the flotidiots held a press conference in which they said that they would leave next week. Well, they were lying, no surprise there, it is what they do best.

They have tried to make a run for it and have been caught by the Greek Coast Guard. Deportation anyone?
American activists set sail from Greece on Friday aboard a boat set to take part in a pro-Palestinian flotilla to Gaza, defying calls from Israel to cancel it and a ban by Athens.

The vessel was stopped by the Greek Coast Guard some 25 minutes after its unauthorized departure. It was not immediately clear whether the boat will be taken back to port.
Instead of an imposing flotilla heading to Gaza ready to stymie Israel's efforts to enforce a blockade against Hamas terrorists--it is the flotilla that has seen lose the imposing facade it once had.

As Israel Matzav wrote this week:
Beset by breakdowns and delays, the flotilla of fools may now only depart next week. It is also losing passengers - down to about 300-350 from an original expectation of 1,500.
Apparently not everyone is sanguine about aiding terrorists.

They may not even sail after the international media leaves Athens today. No news organization is interested in covering a non-story. The Flotilla Of Fools are running out of oxygen, both financial and in public relations. Finally, their contempt for Greek law and sovereignty isn't winning them any friends there.
