New Book--"Deception: Betraying The Peace Process"

Marcus and Zilberdik point out how, in the course of one day, a Palestinian child can walk on a street named after the mass murderer Abu Jihad, to a school named after the founder of Hamas, where he will read hate-filled textbooks, work in a computer room named after a suicide bomber, spend the afternoon at a soccer tournament with the teams named after suicide bombers, go in the evening to the Abu Iyad community center, the orchestrator of the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, and finally return home to view anti-Semitic cartoons on TV before going to bed.
Isi Leibler, Documenting Palestinian criminality in Israel Hayom

In Documenting Palestinian criminality, Isi Leibler writes about the success of Arab rhetoric in the arena of world opinion--at least till now:

This defamatory torrent directly affects Israel’s diminished standing in the international community.

In response to this, an important book compiled by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik titled "Deception: Betraying the Peace Process," has just been released. It meticulously documents the poisonous behavior of the Palestinian Authority during 2010 and 2011 throughout the broad range of institutions they control. It will become an important source for pro-Israeli activists and provide irrefutable evidence in response to those denying the criminality pervading Palestinian society...

The book and the PMW website ( chronicle obscene examples of incitement, especially in the wake of the release of the terrorists in the Gilad Schalit prisoner exchange. Abbas, who publicly embraced these mass murderers, summed up the PA approach when he stated, "Every prisoner is for us a saint and we must exalt him." He subsequently appointed Mahmoud Damra, a notorious terrorist, as his adviser.
The book by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik address the facts, especially targeting what the Arabs are actually saying in Arabic and doing to incite hatred of Israel on a regular basis.

The authors draw a direct correlation between the PA's messages of hate speech that demonize Israelis and Jews and bolster the glorification of terror and a child's perception of Hitler as a positive role model. They offer an example of an essay submitted by a Palestinian teenage girl to a PA-funded educational magazine presenting Hitler as a hero because he killed Jews. In her essay, Hitler tells the girl in a dream: "I killed them so you would all know that they are a nation which spreads destruction all over the world."

The authors detail examples of how the PA uses libels and lies to demonize Israelis, including various accusations that have been promoted via communications and media channels: Israel intentionally spreads AIDS, drugs and prostitution among Palestinians; Israel has plans to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque; and Israel poisoned Yasser Arafat.

The authors illustrate how the glorification of terror and terrorists remains a mainstay of PA policy, as evidenced in the numerous summer camps, sports tournaments and events named after Palestinian terrorists.

The authors point to examples of the PA's constant denial of the legitimacy of Israel's existence. An official PA TV video clip broadcast during the peace talks described Israelis as foreigners on stolen land who should all leave Israel.
The book Deception: Betraying The Peace Process can be bought directly from Palestinian Media Watch.

One more reason the Palestinians are ready for a state.
