RABBI DEFENDS CAIR: Judeopundit, blogging on Soccer Dad has a post on Rabbi Arthur Waskow's defense of CAIR.

Who is Rabbi Waskow?
The same guy who writes:
Passover invites us to remember the past and reflect upon the present. After Passsover [sic], how do we start walking our way into the future?

Four traditional questions are recited at the Passover Seder. But the real first question is this:

"Is Pharaoh our god, or is the Breath of Life?"

From Rabbi Jesus leading a march of palm-bearing Jews against the Roman Empire...
You get the picture.

The same guy . . .

That's right--I had forgotten.
I even blogged about his four-questions essay after it appeared at Huffpo.

B"H I'm not sure why whack jobs like him and Michael Lerner are referred to as "rabbis." Language is powerful. Let's not encourage them. Let's reveal the truth, by referring to them by their first names, or if we must, then by "Mr....."

Some people have the idea that a certificate of any kind means they're entitled to the respect of a title.

"Theological movements" are not the issue here. I don't refer to certain frum/orthodox/datti "rabbis" as rabbis either,...not if they're whack jobs.
