Brit Milah and Mohel Monster: Antisemitism Defended As An Attempt To Encourage Debate

You've probably heard about the attempt in San Francisco to make Brit Milah a crime

But have you heard about the comic book a group has put out featuring Foreskin Man vs. Monster Mohel?

The PJ Tatler notices the similarity between Mohel Monster and classic Nazi antisemitic images:

There is another similarity: the comparison being made between Brit Milah and the libel of Jews using blood:

Here is a video from a Syrian program about a rabbi slaughtering a Christian boy for his blood (warning: graphic)

Syrian drama series: Jews kill Christian child using his blood for baking Passover Matzah

And now Congress is stepping into the Brit Milah controversy:
The fight over the controversial San Francisco ballot measure to ban circumcision for boys under 18 is getting some pushback from the nation’s capital. Rep. Brad Sherman says he will introduce legislation to prevent cities from banning the practice:
“Male circumcision has been practiced for thousands of years and is a deeply important ceremony for two major religions,” Sherman said. “Circumcision is obligatory for Jewish-born males — it must be performed on the eighth day after birth and is only postponed in the case of threat to the life or health of the child. Muslim parents also circumcise their male children.” …

“Congress has a legitimate interest in making sure that a practice that appears to reduce disease and healthcare costs remains available to parents,” he said. “And, nothing in my bill prohibits statewide law ensuring that male circumcision occurs in a hygienic manner.”
The person who drew the comic book is thrilled--he claims that his work is encouraging discussion.

Personally, the only thing more pathetic than the attempt to stop free speech under the ruse that it is hate speech is defending hate speech under the ruse that the person spewing the hate is merely trying to encourage debate.

Maybe someone should encourage "debate" with this guy by taking him to court.
