DOES FATAH HAVE EVEN THE WEST BANK? Israel Matzav quotes from a Jerusalem Post article that Fatah is in even worse shape than it appears...much worse.

If Egypt was determined, with Israel, to halt the supply of arms to Hamas, could they succeed and is the new threat of alliance between Hamas and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood likely to galvanise that determination?

I'm looking for positives here.

At this point, I don't think it's clear how things are going to develop from here. Just how bad things have to develop before the West takes action?

How firmly does Iranian influence have to become entrenched before the Arab world takes overt action?

The jury is still out.

One more point occurs to me.

Conventional wisdom has it that Hamas achieved a great military success and certainly their operation seemed to be highly effective, if brutal.

I can't help wondering though... if Hamas gets Gaza and if Fattah can hold onto the West Bank, who actually gets the better deal?

Who won?
