IF YOU CAN'T TRUST THE UN...Israel seems to think that Syria is getting ready for war. Fortunately, at times like this we have the UN--in this case Austrian general Wolfgang Jilke, commander of the UN Disengagement Observer Force positioned along the Israeli-Syrian border. Zionist.com writes:

Jilke stated that according to what the Syrians had shown him, they were merely repairing defensive positions near the border, and not conducting a military buildup, as Israel charges. Of course, Jilke is certain the Syrians were completely open and transparent about their moves and intentions.
