WHY CAN'T THE WEST BE MORE MICKEY MOUSE? Earlier this week, I blogged about how Hamas was using a Mickey Mouse lookalike to encourage terrorism among kids.

Then Walt Disney's daughter came out condemning Hamas's use of Mickey:

It’s not just Mickey, it’s indoctrinating children like this, teaching them to be evil...The world loves children and this is just going against the grain of humanity.

Now Hamas has dropped Mickey Mouse from their show:

[Palestinian Information Minister Mustafa] Barghouti said the use of the cartoon character in such a role represented a mistaken approach to the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation.

Nobody messes with Mickey Mouse.
--making the West look downright Goofy by comparison.

Update: From this post on LGF, it turns out the Mickey Mouse lookalike is still on the program--and media reports are whitewashing what Hamas is doing.
