Assange proved there was no connection between real M.E. and the M.E. they talk about in The Washington Post, Le Monde and The Guardian

Going beyond the disproved media narrative, Wikileaks demonstrates that Obama was wrong that getting the Arab world on board against Iran's nuclear program required Israel to make more concessions.
Then there is the team of Mearsheimer and Walt who claim Israel is behind US opposition to Iran:
We maintain that US policy in the Middle East is driven primarily by the commitment to Israel, not oil interests. If the oil companies or the oil-producing countries were driving policy, Washington would be tempted to favour the Palestinians instead of Israel. Moreover, the United States would almost certainly not have gone to war against Iraq in March 2003, and the Bush administration would not be threatening to use military force against IranJennifer Rubin, now blogging at The Washington Post, writes that Wikileaks undercuts Mearsheimer, Walt and the proponents of "Israel Lobby" conspiracy that it is Israel pushing the US to oppose Iran:
The Walt-Mearsheimer crowd can't bear to admit that the WikiLeaks leaks undermine their Israel lobby trope. Jeffrey Goldberg (not exactly one of dreaded neocons they like to grouse about) explains things: "So let's get this straight: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the U.A.E. and a whole bunch of other Arab states want the U.S. to confront -- in the most militant way possible -- Iran, which threatens their existence.Still, all this presupposes the accuracy of the Wikileak documents themselves. However, Iran has figured out that the US is behind Wikileaks:
Revelations about Iran contained in secret diplomatic cables published by WikiLeaks are nothing more than fabrications designed to pave the way for U.S. actions against the country, according to an Iranian general quoted Tuesday by the semi-official FARS News Agency. That is kind of odd, because equally brilliant people have uncovered the fact that Wikileaks is a front for the Mossad:
One out of seven news outlets have noticed, thus far, that Wikileaks seems to have a “soft heart” when it comes to Israel and India. Zbigniew Brzezinski caught on, finally, declaring that Wikileaks is an “intelligence operation” using “pointed” information carefully “seeded” into a combination of minor scandals and chickenfeed. No word yet on how India fits into this.
There is absolutely no question for the press that Wikileaks is totally phony, we all know it, it is blatantly slanted, clearly not only anti-American but aimed [anti?] Islam. At the same time, it is trying to be more and more clever about seeming less the Mossad “game theory” construct that we all know it is.
But don't feel too sorry for Mearsheimer and Walt--back in 2007, the Washington Post reported: Forget the Israel Lobby. The Hill's Next Big Player Is Made in India.
Pass the word!
