Chief Palestinian Authority Negotiator Saeb Erekat on Saturday denied a report claiming that PA President Mahmoud Abbas submitted a written proposal agreeing to Israel maintaining control over the Western Wall and carrying out a land swap in the West Bank, reported Israel Radio.
According to a Saturday report in the London-based pan-Arab daily Al-Hayat, Abbas had agreed that the Western Wall and the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem remain under Israeli sovereignty in the context of a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. This, from the guy who promises no incitement and then eulogizes the man behind the Munich Massacre.
For Abbas, it's all in a day's work.

Abu Bluff's chief bottle washer made it clear the Palestinians are not to going to even offer Israel the Jewish Quarter and the Western Wall!
And such a farcical "compromise" is not even worth considering - when you think its too painful for the Palestinians to recognize even a minute degree of Jewish sovereignty over Eretz Israel!
That's for the folks who wonder why the "proximity talks" are headed for failure.
