One Of The Murderers Of The Fogel Family Is Convicted

Hakim Awad was convicted yesterday of murdering the Fogel family:

The Shomron Military Court convicted Hakim Awad on Tuesday of murdering the Fogel family in the West Bank settlement of Itamar in March.

Awad, an 18-year-old from the nearby village of Awarta pleaded guilty to the charges in the indictment against him, which implicated him along with his accomplice Amjad Awad, who is 19-years-old, in the murder of five members of the Fogel family in their home.

Both have confessed to the murder, and the military prosecution in the case say there is forensic evidence linking them to the scene of the crime, including DNA samples and fingerprints.

The murder was heinous.
In comparison with everything that was written about what happened, this short article about the conviction of one of the murderers seems oddly short and incomplete.
