Blinded terror victim: If I wasn't optimistic, I'd be stuck in past forever

Oren Almog lost his father, brother, grandfather, grandmother, and cousin, as well as his sight in the 2003 suicide bombing at Haifa's Maxim restaurant.

The 15-year-old is adamant about the need to stay optimistic, despite everything, and since his horrific ordeal, Almog has won third place in an international sailing championship for the blind, and has taught himself how to play the guitar.

During a performance he gave at a charity concert on Tuesday, Almog asked that the lights be turned off so the audience could feel how it is to be blind.
